This place is one of the most popular summer destinations among Koreans — and now I totally get why! Crystal-clear sea, wide beaches, and a relaxing vibe that makes you feel like you’re on an island somewhere far from Korea 🏖️🌊

But this little paradise comes with a price 😅

Off-season, we paid around 85,000 won (~$65) per night,

but during peak season? It jumped to 170,000 won (~$130) — and that was one of the cheapest options! 😳

🚗 The drive took us almost 4 hours because of heavy traffic(a few months ago we made it in just 2.5 hours.)

For Koreans, that’s considered way too long, but somehow everyone still ends up there 😅

And honestly — it was all worth it.

Besides chilling at the beach, we also:

▪️ Visited a peaceful Buddhist temple hidden in the mountains

▪️ Explored mountain streams with amazingly clear water

▪️ Even tried a bit of fishing 🎣 (Don’t ask about the results 😂)

Yangyang is definitely one of those places you want to go back to.

Even if it’s far and pricey — the vibe is absolutely worth it^^ #Seoraksan #EastSea #Yangyang #YangyangBeach #KoreaTravel #TravelSouthKorea
